Vietnam War Nylon USMC M1941 Pattern Haversack

usmc_nylonpack1

Resembles the WWII M1941 pattern Marine Corps haversack, except constructed with nylon rather than canvas.  Cotton web straps. Faint nomenclature stamped inside flap indicates 1968 manufacture.  Shows light use with no rips, repairs, etc.

Vietnam Leather Shoulder Holster

vietnam_shoulderholster1

This is an original GI issue black leather shoulder holster for a revolver.  The hanger is stamped “US” and the holster is marked “Holster Assembly, GUU-1/P, 1093-819-8591, J.M. Bucheimer Co. 1966, AP 09 (603) 62890, U.S.” The rig comes with an extra strap.  The leather is a bit stiff from never being used.  Otherwise, this is a nice looking setup that would look cool with a pilot, MP, Advisor, tunnel rat, dog handler, etc impression.

Vietnam LRRP (Long Rang Reconnaissance Patrol) Ration

lrrpration1

lrrpration2

This is an original Vietnam era green wrapper LRRP (Long Range Reconnaissance Patrol) ration.  These were preferred by Special Forces, SOG, SEAL, Force RECON, and Ranger personnel because they were light and they tasted better than C-Rations when eaten cold.  This ration is marked, “Packet, Long Range Patrol, Chili Con Carne, Menu No. 2″.

This item is for display purposes and no longer suitable for consumption.

Lot of 2 1969 Dated US Class A Shirts

vn_classashirts1

A lot of two Vietnam Class A shirts in a size 16.5″ x 33″.  Usually when I find these shirts, they are private purchase and void of government nomenclature.  Both of these shirts are clearly marked, “SHIRT, MAN’S, POLYESTER, ARMY TAN 446, TYPE II, CLASS 3, DSA100-69-C-1111, Blue Bell, INC.”  One appears to be unworn.  The other shirt has been worn and has a little “ring around the collar” that would wash out if laundered properly.  Otherwise, both shirts are in great shape.
