Original WWII silk escape / evasion map as used by pilots and airborne personnel. This map is marked “Sheet C” on one side and “Sheet D” on the other. It covers the countries Holland, Germany, Switzerland, France, and Belgium. Silk maps were preferred over paper because they were able to be folded silently and they could handle getting damp. The soldier who carried this map hand tacked the edges with thread to prevent the silk from unraveling (see pic). Strong colors and no rips, stains, or repairs.

WWII era cardboard playset No. 14 with six infantry soldier and a trench made by Built-Rite Toys, Lafayette, Indiana. All intact with the instruction sheet and box. Soldiers are still on the tree and appear to have never been played with.
