This grouping was purchased from the veteran's family and consists of:

1. WWI Wound Certificate in excellent condition with veteran's name and unit (Co. C 128th Infantry Regiment)

2. Original discharge paper that lists the Purple Heart for being gassed on August 31, 1918. The soldier fought in Aisne and Oisne

3. 1964 dated VFW card

4. 20 original photographs / postcards containing images of the soldier, his camp, training, his sweetheart, and two post war images of him dressed in a police uniform and as a much older man

5. Yard long photo of veteran with his stateside unit (Co. C Sixth Nebraska Infantry)

6. Commemorative award given to the veteran by his employer (Armour & Co.) for his service in WWI
